How do I frame that question and how do I answer that and in what context? Let’s set up a scenario: a long lost friend says they’ll love you forever as long as you’re the same person. What does being the same person even mean?

How do we define what it means to be the same person?

Does it mean still liking the same things or doing the same activities? Does it mean still having the same values? Does it mean showing care and affection in the same way? Does it mean only the “good” remaining?

Really how do we define ourselves?

I think as a society we end up defining ourselves in terms of our opinions more…
